REGISTRATION FOR GRADES K-12 FOR FALL 2003
The next registration date will be Thursday, September 4 in the
Main Hall. On that day you may come anytime between 3:00 p.m.
and 8:00 p.m. The following registrations will be taken:
Little Seedlings: 3 & 4 year olds
Elementary: K - 5th grade
Middle School: 6 - 8th grades
High School: 9, 10 & 12 grades
Confirmation: 11th grade
1st & 2nd year Eucharist & Reconciliation preparation: 1st grade
and up
After September 4 registrations will be by appointment only.
REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE TAKEN AT THE PARISH OFFICE.

BAPTISM CLASS
The next preparation class for the baptism of infants and pre-school
age children will be held on Tuesday, August 26 at 7:00 p.m. in
the Chapel. To register for the class please call the Parish Office,
484-1070, to make an appointment with Pete Bennett.
SPAGHETTI DINNER AND SILENT AUCTION FUND-RAISER
In November a group of High School Students will be attending
the National Catholic Youth Conference in Houston, Texas. We will
be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction as a fund-raiser
on Thursday, August 28. Currently we are looking for sponsors.
We are asking the help of any parishioners who own their own business
or know of a business which would be willing to donate goods or
services for a fund-raiser. All contributions will be acknowledged
at the fund-raiser. Please contact Keri, 484-1070. For those who
are looking forward to attending this fund-raiser tickets will
be sold after all Masses the weekend of August 23-24 . You can
also purchase tickets the night of the dinner and silent auction
on August 28. More details to come.
HIGH SCHOOL BONFIRE
Summer is coming to an end and with that we are having our last
high school bonfire on Friday, August 15 at Oceanside Harbor.
If you are looking for a fun way to end the summer before going
back to school here is your chance. To sign up all you need to
do is turn in a permission slip to the Parish Office by Monday,
August 11. We will need lots of drivers and chaperones for the
evening, so if you are parent who can help please mark that on
the permission slip when you turn it in. We will meet at the church
at 4:00 p.m. and carpool to the beach. We will return to the parish
at 10:00 p.m. You do not want to miss this event! Questions? Call

CAMP REMINDERS
Just a reminder if you are going to the high school or middle
school camp and have not paid the rest of you balance it is due
in the office as soon as possible. Please make arrangements to
turn it in quickly.
CONFIRMATION JUNIOR FACILITATORS
If you were Confirmed last year and are interested in applying
for the position of Junior Facilitator for this year's class we
are currently accepting letters. All you need to do is bring your
letter for Keri to the Parish Office no later than Friday, August
15. In this letter please include why you want to be a part of
the team, what you will bring to the team, and how you will be
a positive influence on this years Confirmation candidates.
Please note: Your commitment will require you to attend
all classes on your designated night, all training sessions, and
to act as a counselor on the Confirmation retreat in January.
Before applying make sure you will be able to commit to all that
is being asked of you for the entire year. Call Keri, 484-1070,
with any questions or concerns you may have.
HIGH SCHOOL RETREAT FACILITATORS
The high school retreat team is being put together. The retreat
will be in October this year and is open to all high school students.
If you are interested in being a counselor please write a letter
to Keri stating why you want to be on the team, what you will
bring to the team, as well as previous counselor experience. These
letters need to be in by August 22. Meetings will begin in September.
